welding is a welding process carried out by melting only the filler metal, while the base metal is locally heated to a temperature below its melting point, suitable for joining with the filler metal.<\/p>\n<p>The filler metal must always have a lower melting temperature than that of the base metal and the joint is therefore heterogeneous: if the base metal is brought to a convenient temperature (called wetting temperature), braze welding ensures the establishment of a special bond between the two metals, capable of realizing in the welded joint mechanical properties of the same order and often even higher than those of the base metal.<\/p>\n<p>The filler metals generally used on steels, cast irons and copper and its alloys are alloys of copper, zinc and silicon or copper,
